Run The A1 Series 2012
All about the A1 Series
Peterborough/Cambridge-based Advance Performance, the running store for everyone, sponsor most local running races as part of the company philosophy of supporting the community. As a result of this, the A1 Series was born.
In 2012, Brooks is once again supporting the series wholeheartedly and have kindly given a substantial level of prizes and support.
This year all athletes will score points for a new A1 league with prizes given out by Brooks and Advance Performance, which will include a free VO2 test.
25p will be donated to charity for EVERY entrant at EVERY race
The A1 Series 2011 raised much needed funds and we are looking to raise even more in 2012!
Aims of the A1 Series
- To encourage everyone to run, regardless of their age or ability
- To increase the numbers attending the individual races
- To promote the activities of local running clubs
- To encourage runners to join their local club
- To raise funds for the Sue Ryder Care Thorpe Hall Hospice
- To inform people about Advance Performance – the running store for everyone
- To promote the specialist products of Mizuno with the aim of reducing injury and discomfort to runners
- To put novice runners in touch with experts
