What our beginners have to say:
“I have entered for Race For Life and have got the tee shirt! You mentioned running in a team for chariots of fire in September. Is that still possible and if so please let me know more details.
“Meanwhile thank you so much for all the hard work you have done to get us running! Your support and encouragement has been great. I am sorry not to be able to see the other runners this last session too.” – Pippa
“As I mentioned before, I’ve never been a runner and never thought I’d enjoy jogging down Huntingdon Rd first thing on a Saturday morning……but with your great encouragement and giving us all confidence in ourselves, I feel as though I’ve achieved something very positive for myself, and so thank you for that.
“I’ve also made some new friends too, and am planning to keep up with our running, so you may see us running round the streets of Cambridge soon!
“Thank you again for all your support these past weeks.” – Beverly
“Just wanted to say a massive thank you for the last 8 weeks. I started as a true beginner and ended on a high thanks to your encouragement and patience. I’ve tried to run on my own and with groups before but have then given up as I’ve felt out of my depth and haven’t been able to push beyond 3 minutes of jogging.
“By starting with a manageable speed and time at 30 seconds you have proved that even people like me can get to 5k and now I am hooked. I’ll certainly be keeping up the running and will be using the Advance Performance shop.
“Thank you again for helping me to realise a personal ambition – even if it has taken me 20 years to get there! Just think without your group I may never have achieved it. ” – Julie
