The Sports Injury Clinic @ Advance Performance Cambridge & Peterborough
There’s lots of Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic’s these days and we strive to be different!
Our philosophy is simple…
We cut through all the nonsense and get to the root of the problem!
Our aim is to get you better for good by treating the cause of your problem and not just the symptoms so the problem doesn’t persistently return.
We treat ankle sprains to neck pain and everything in between and cover a range of occupational and sports injuries, so if you have a cycling or running injury, hurt yourself in the garden or have a sore back from driving we can help!… and you don’t have to be injured to benefit… a sports massage can work wonders for tight and sore muscles and aid race recovery by up to 2 days!
Two of our seven Sports Injury Clinic’s in East Anglia are based at both the Peterborough and Cambridge Advance Performance stores. Our partnership works very well for customers as our specialist knowledge comes together to create a unique service in the area.
For running, triathlon and general sports enthusiasts, you may be interested in our specialist biomechanical analysis which breaks down the bodies movement patterns, identifying any weaknesses and possible reasons for recurring injuries… a simple rehab plan is often all that is needed to fix these annoying training niggles. This service works hand in hand with Advance Performance’s gait analysis and shoe fit service… you really can have a full body MOT in one hit!!
Other benefits of using us is we won’t give you lengthy technical explanations and we will really listen to your issues… we’ll draw a conclusion, then we’ll formulate a simple but effective plan of treatment and exercises to get you better for good and we’ll be with you every step of the way.
In addition to our main services of injury treatment and sports massage we also offer specialist services such as Diagnostic Ultrasound Scanning, acupuncture and IDD therapy (A non-surgical spinal decompression treatment to help chronic back and neck pain).
If you have a long-term injury that has not been successfully treated in the past, our Sports Therapists Calum Shaw and Charlotte Musson are more than happy to discuss with you over the telephone to ensure you feel comfortable with our approach and treatment protocol before you make a decision to use our services.
