Advance Performance has been a supporter of the Small Business Saturday initiative since it’s second year, becoming a Small Biz 100 company in 2015 and this year Managing Director, Samantha Hale is a Small Business Saturday Champion
As one of a number of entrepreneurs around the UK chosen to become a Small Business Saturday Champion, her remit is to promote this year’s event, on Saturday December 2 in and around her area and to her customers and local business networks.
Small Business Saturday UK is a grassroots, non-commercial campaign, which highlights small business success and encourages consumers to ‘shop local’ and support small businesses in their communities.
The day itself takes place on the first Saturday in December each year, but the campaign aims to have a lasting impact on small businesses.
Samantha commented, “Advance Performance was established 18 years ago, developing a it’s own unique business ethos - we’re small, specialised and independent.
“Which means I’m delighted to be part of the Small Business Saturday campaign again, it provides a real opportunity to showcase just what our small local business can do.”
The stores in Peterborough and Cambridge, plan to put on special events on 2 December which is Small Business Saturday and hope to blog about the progress of the arrangements for what they hope will be a fun day for all the family, encouraging running and sporting activity for all ages and abilities.
