VO2 Fitness Testing
VO2 Fitness Testing is a great way to focus your training and gain better results from your efforts.
You could just be starting to run to lose weight or looking to smash a new personal best, it doesn’t matter which, everyone can benefit from customising and individually focusing their training with a VO2 Fitness Test with Advance Performance.
Whether you are taking up running for the first time or an experienced racer the effort and commitment to training is the same; everyone wants to hit goals and see results from all their efforts.
Your goal might be to lose weight and feel fitter, or to run a race the fastest you have ever done. Nonetheless, there is a need for a balance in your training between easy paced endurance runs - your longest run of the week - and speed threshold runs - efforts, intervals and shorter tempo/threshold runs.
There’s already lots of information out there, online and in magazines to help you, but at Advance Performance we can expand and develop this program so that it is individually customised; maximising and improving everyone’s chance of hitting his or her own personal goals.

What do I need to do?
You DO need an appointment for our VO2 Fitness Test (allow 40 minutes)
- Please bring some running shoes
- Comfortable clothing, shorts, capris or tights
- Ladies, don’t forget your sports bra
